The band was formed in the summer of 2014 as part of a project in a college music class. The original lineup consisted of three of the current line-up, Toby Robson (Vocals/Guitar), James Dorsett (Bass) and Alfie Brading (Drums) as well as one other.
Shortly after the completion of the school project the fourth member of the band was dropped and they continued as a three-piece consisting of Toby, James and Alfie on Guitar, Bass and Drums respectively. At this point the main vocals were performed by James and the band went by the name “Subsonix”. They would practice together and play songs from bands such as Green Day which is still a large influence to them to this day.
In 2017, the band became a four-piece once more with lead guitarist Rowan Tall joining the band.
In June of that year the band booked their first gig at a local football club. The band decided not to continue to use the “Subsonix” name once Rowan joined the band so there was pressure to find a new name before the gig. After many discussions, the band finally decided on “Limited Time”, as they had limited time to think of a name. Around this time the band also started writing their first original songs.
At the end of 2017, the band recorded their first single and it was released on January 5th, 2018. This single was called “Individuality”. In June of 2018, the band released their first EP. The self-titled EP contained five songs including Individuality as well as four new tracks.
